Breast Shape Types

Countless genes make each of us very different, so we should not take it for granted that there are only so few breast types, and then force the girl in. Know the shape of your chest and choose the style that suits you best.

1. Round

Equally full at the top and bottom
Fit tips: Most styles will work well for your shape, but try a wireless bra for days when you only want light support or a balconette style when you want an ultra-flattering fit

2. East West

Nipples pointing outward in opposite directions
Fit tips: Look for full coverage bras to help bring your breasts up and together

3. Higher Chest

Located higher on the torso, relatively closer to the shoulders

4. Lower Chest

Located at a lower torso, but that doesn’t mean it’s sagging, it’s just lower

5. Side Set

Wide space between breasts
Fit tips: If you’re looking to create some cleavage, try uplift plunge bras for a flattering lift

6. Closer Chest

No gaps between the inner contours of the breast

7. Round, but slightly less full at the bottom

8. Slimmer at the top, fuller at the bottom

Fit tips: Explore bras with full coverage, which feature wider, stretch straps that provide support, but never dig in

9. The base of the chest occupies most of the torso. Even part of the side, extending below the arm

10. The base of the breast does not occupy the side of the torso

11. Asymmetric

One breast is larger than the other
Fit tip: Explore bras with removable inserts, like our Seamless Wireless T-shirt Bra to help even out your natural shape

12. Relaxed

Breasts with lax tissue and nipples pointing downward
Fit tips: Try an underwire style, which has a slightly shorter cup for more fullness at the top
